LEAGUE PLAY

League Pinball Machines

  • Each month, five (5) different pinball machines will be chosen for that month’s league play.
  • Extra Balls WILL be allowed on the assigned games.
  • Every attempt will be made to announce each month's assigned pinball machines via Facebook, Instagram, and our Website, at least 3 days prior to the first day of the month.

Attendance and League Play Times

  • League play is ONLY allowed during Open Play hours.
  • Any league member who fails to play an assigned pinball machine for that month, will get a score of zero on that machine for that month. ALL league players must pay either the Unlimited Open Play admission of $25 or the One Hour Open Play admission of $15 each day they enter to practice and/or compete. League players will go to the Pinhall desk when they are ready to play each pinball machine to get a 2CP staff to watch the league play  and to have their scores recorded (one  chance only when score is being counted). Failure to do so could result in any scores achieved being null and  void.
    • CRITICAL RULE - Since league players are allowed to practice  during open play, when such player is ready to compete to have their score recorded, such player MUST check-in at the PinHall desk. The  League Coordinator/2CP staff will grab a score sheet to watch AND record  the league player’s score. Each league player gets ONE attempt on each  pinball machine, and that ONE attempt will be recorded, regardless of how  well one may have played during practice. Not all 5 pinball machines have to be played in a single day.   FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE RULES FOR SCORE RECORDING WILL RESULT IN A ZERO   ON THOSE MACHINES. PHOTOS OR   INSIDER CONNECTED SCORES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
  •  League play starts on the first day of Open Play for that month, and ends STRICTLY AT THE CLOSE of the last day of Open Play for that month. There WILL NOT be any makeup dates.
  • Every player has the entire month (on days of Open Play only) to complete the assigned 5 pinball machines. Pinball machines can be played as often as they would like, PRIOR to starting their single pinball machine attempt for the month. Not all 5 pinball machines have to be played in a single day. Since we are providing ample availability for members to compete, we will NOT be dropping anyone’s lowest scores.
  •  League players are ENCOURAGED to compete well in advance of the final day of Open Play for that month, as to not create pinball machine play bottlenecks.

Scoring

  • Each month, the 10 players with the highest cumulative PAPA scores across all 5 pinball machines will win cash prizes for that month.
  • PAPA scoring applied to each pinball machine will be: 100 for first, 90 for second, 85 for third, and then 84, 83, 82 and so on for places fourth, fifth, sixth, etc.
  • There will be NO Tie Breakers. Any tied players will have the respective purse divided equally amongst them.
  • Monthly purse payouts will be determined based on the total number of league players registered as of Saturday January 24th.
